Grinnell College
was my home
between 1999 and 2003. A small liberal-arts college located in the
middle of Iowa, Grinnell hosts a student body from dozens of countries
and just about every state of the US. What I also loved about it is its
location -- a small, safe and charming town
of
about 9,100 residents, set amid rolling hills covered in cornfields.
You can get an idea of what Grinnell's surroundings look like by
viewing a Google Maps satellite
image of the area.
The picture above shows the ARH, built in 1917 and home to several
Grinnell
College departments, mainly in the Humanities and Social Sciences. I
took almost all my Grinnell classes in this building.
