An ornate building on Prague's Old Town Square, with the Týn
Cathedral in the background. Unlike the case in many other countries,
Czech medieval buildings are so freshly painted that we can actually
get some idea of what they may have originally looked like.
Meanwhile, calling the Týn Cathedral the building project of
a
century would be an understatement. Work on the Cathedral started in
1365, and did not end until 1511. How many generations does that make?
